Find your Antenna Test Chamber at EuCap Stockholm
This morning, we revealed the 3D models of our latest worry-free antenna test chamber solutions at EuCAP in Stockholm. In the photo, Marc Le Roy (left) demonstrates one of our 3D models to a visitor on the first day at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Center.
In the heart of Italy’s military activities, we recently delivered a brand new chamber for TESLAB that complies with MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards. Why a third chamber? Uliana Trucchi, Senior Technical Consultant at Comtest Engineering, states: “Teslab is a highly successful and fast-growing test facility, founded in Livorno, Tuscany, about thirty years ago by three brilliant men. One of them is Giorgio Romano, my primary contact during this project.
Giorgio Romano: “Ten years ago, I asked Comtest Engineering to upgrade one of our two semi-anechoic chambers. Their newly launched closed-cell polystyrene absorbers inspired me. We installed these new absorbers ourselves, following Comtest’s instructions, and the second chamber upgrade occurred immediately after the first. This third chamber was handled turnkey by Comtest, saving us time because their installation team is efficient and completed the entire upgrade in just six days. This also relieved some pressure from my plate, allowing me to focus on other matters.”
Uliana Trucchi: “The new chamber is the first we have built from scratch for Teslab, which confirms that the positive relationship is mutual. The room features a tabletop setting, but to make it accessible for testing larger equipment, we lifted and installed a double-sided 3×3 meter door on the second floor. The demand for testing according to MIL-STD-810 and DO-160 standards is increasing, as you can imagine. Besides Italy, we have installed testing solutions for military and aviation equipment in various European countries.”
If you need to upgrade your semi-anechoic chamber or if you are experiencing rapid growth and require an additional chamber for testing in accordance with MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 standards, don’t hesitate to contact Uliana Trucchi.
