Linda Bos takes care of the Comtest -family
Our new HR Manager, Linda Bos, has worked for many companies over the years, but now she wants to join the Comtest family. How did she find the experience of being match-made herself, for a change? Linda: ‘It was fun to be soliciting for a position as a human resource professional. When I read about this position, I spoke to the recruiter and started to investigate Comtest Engineering.’

Few OEMs are aware of the steps they need to take to prepare for purchasing a high-end test chamber. Today, we will assist you by exploring step 3 of our Worry-Free Five-Step Process: worry-free planning and production.
We asked our Production Manager, André Oostdam, to explain the importance of clear alignment between you and us before production begins, and how he prepares production with his colleagues. André: ‘To ensure the final design does not contain surprises that could cause delays and additional costs during installation, we offer site survey services. Once the final design is signed off by the client, it serves as the basis for our engineering department to prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM). As production manager, I will review this BOM with my logistics and installation colleagues to finalise it, after which no changes will be accepted.”
And what is the next step?
André: ‘When everything is thoroughly prepared, I am the one who gives the green light for production. From there, we do what we do best for over 40 years: plan and build the finest doors and, step by step, create a high-end test chamber. Clients should visit our production plant one day to see how skilled my colleagues are. Most people have no idea what it takes to make a chamber 100% leak-proof. Some of my colleagues, such as Sebastiaan Koopmans in the photo, take pride in making every welding corner perfect at 90 degrees. It’s fantastic to see it!”
