‘Your antenna test setup should fit your measurement requirements, available space and budget,’ says Marc Le Roy, one of our Technical Consultants. Marc: ‘At Comtest, we help antenna testing professionals find the right solution: from our Premium Antenna Test Chamber for demanding shielding requirements to our cost-effective Basic Antenna Test Chamber, which clients can assemble themselves.’
Exhibiting alongside our UK representatives, Melcom Electronics Limited, was a great success. ‘I almost ran out of my Microwave Absorber postcards!’ said Vincent van de Vrie, our on-site Technical Consultant.
Our services include maintenance and validated testing. We recommend that both are executed by authorized personnel only. Our expert teams can perform preventive maintenance on RF-shielded doors, mode-stirrer systems, and positioning equipment such as turntables. We also offer validation services to see if your EMC test chamber or RF-shielded room still functions within its intended limits and avoiding unexpected down-time or product recalls at the same time.

A shielded room can perform conducted emission and immunity EMC measurements, eliminating harmful external influences, leading to more accurate and consistent test results. Being a Faraday cage, a shielded room will not only improve test results but will also form an excellent aid in protecting information and essential hardware. Comtest can assist governments, the military, financial institutions, and large corporations in protecting what matters most in critical situations. We offer the highest quality, sensitivity, and security before, during and after working with you.

The Comtest teambuilding event started and finished in the small town of Warmond this year.
Why? Because we love water, boats, and historic windmills. Before we all sat down for dinner, we split our colleagues into five competitive teams who had to earn their meals by completing a series of very challenging tasks, such as juggling balls and plates and working on the perfect team selfie, while enjoying the boat ride through the beautiful Kaag en Braasem area of South Holland. Along the way, we saw historic windmills and even the traditional Dutch syrup waffle wrapped around a dinosaur.
One of the event organisers, our IT Coordinator, Corné van der Plas, lives near these lakes and has spent many hours sailing there. We wish to thank him and Arina Verboom for organising this memorable event.
