5-day intensive TEMPEST & EMC Training
To better understand and help our clients, two of our Technical Consultants attended a 5-day intensive TEMPEST and EMC course organised by the University of Twente and FH Aachen, University of Applied Sciences. The course is initiated by Professor Frank Leferink with the help of Michael Hilgärtner and Daria Nemashkalo.

During a business trip to South Korea to explore the latest trends in automotive testing, our Sales & Marketing Director, Bas de Groot, returned with some very interesting facts. And they do not all involve a reverberation chamber.
Â
Bas: ‘With summer approaching in Europe, most people think of trips as part of their holiday. Not for me: when I visited 10 different cities, survived 15 traffic jams, handed out 150 Dutch syrup waffles, shook hands with over 150 people, and made stains on 4 pairs of trousers and 5 shirts due to clumsiness while eating with chopsticks.
Â
But seriously, after speaking with over 50 professionals in the Korean automotive and component testing industry, I sensed that, compared to my previous visits, the topic of reverberation chambers has definitely attracted more interest.Â
Â
More and more customers are gaining a clearer understanding of the benefits of reverberation testing over anechoic testing, making the 20 hours of discussions and Q&A sessions I led more effective. Our latest reverberation chamber and stirrer designs for vehicle and automotive component testing received great enthusiasm, and most engineers appreciated the detail and test results I presented to highlight the advantages of using these chambers and stirrers.
Â
Contact Bas de Groot if you want to benefit from the test results mentioned.
Â
Bas would like to sincerely thank Hyeongtae Kim, sangbeom Lee, @Kyunsik Yang, Jongwan Kim and Juhyun Jeong from Rohde & Schwarz for organising the customer meetings, driving Bas across the country, translating his presentation into Korean when needed, and engaging in inspiring discussions about the comprehensive solution for automotive testing in reverberation test chambers.
