If you want to enjoy the full possibilities of your semi or full-anechoic chamber, we advise replacing parts when they wear out after extensive use or when EMC test standards change. Comtest can deliver a new ground plane, absorbers, doors, lamps, turntables, and antenna masts. Filter upgrades apply to automotive, where electrification leads to heavier DC power needs.

Clean Absorbers

Our hybrid EMC absorbers for anechoic chambers are designed for a cascade configuration with a ferrite tile base. If you want to minimise downtime by providing easier access to equipment under test (EUT), we recommend our walkway absorbers reinforced with fibreglass-epoxy grid panels. We offer a selection of pyramidal RF microwave absorbers with an operating frequency from 200 MHz to 50 GHz for antenna testing. All our absorbers are made from polystyrene, a closed-cell material that encapsulates the high-loss dielectric material in our products, thereby preventing the leakage of dust particles.

Shield Room Upgrade

Shield Room Upgrade

Upgrading a shield room often means adding filters or replacing lamps. We will check the dimensions relative to the desired usable frequency (LUF) if you want to upgrade your shield room to a reverb room. Additionally, we will remove all conductive materials and install a new stirrer and antenna mounts, if needed, complete with new filters and additional connectors.
